We discover that God is with us in our darkest moments, just as he was with Joseph through slavery and imprisonment. Through Joseph’s example, we learn God is at work in our waiting, and how God can give us a new perspective on past pain. We are challenged to trust Jesus who experienced the ultimate pain on the cross, proving God’s deep care for our suffering and promising a future without pain.
